Today's post includes two highlights of this week; wearing my very first own maxi skirt, and I finally used my new Vanguard tripod in this lovely breezy weather.

I normally like to wear maxi dresses, as they require not much effort; I can just wear it, add a belt to it, and I'm ready to hit the road! On the other hand, I always find maxi skirts are a bit tricky for me! But when I first saw this turquoise-blue maxi skirt at new look, I had to try it out and make it work no matter what!! I know to most of you, it is just a normal combination of a top and a maxi skirt. But to me, it was really a big fuss to finally get myself to wear such a pretty maxi skirt!!

Part of my sunglasses collection that I recently wear a lot!! Including my new Vogue (On the right)

Hey guys, 

As you already know, I recently received this lovely gift from Bahrain Optica; a beautiful Vogue sunglasses -Here-. I have ditched my other glasses for this baby, and I'm afraid to say that it became one of my favorite sunnies so far!!

And to be honest with you, before getting this gift, I wasn't quiet aware of Vogue's eye-wear collections at all!! But now that I know of their existence, and seen most of their products and how they suit my face shape, I am falling deeply in love with this brand!!

Thirsty Thursday

Hey there guys, I recently noticed that my skin looks more radiant and hydrated after drinkining not less than 6-8 glasses of water a day -As I tend to have a ridiculously dry skin-, especially now it's summer!! So yeah, don't you forget to have your fair share of water throughout the day; to keep your system clean, hydrated and to improve your over all health,,, And all for ZERO calories!!

New Ones

Well hello my lovely readers, I just bought myself a new PROPER tripod for my camera. I am soo excited to try this one out, I used to have one before but it was too weak to carry my camera -Due to the size of the lense and the heavy weight of the camera-! Unlike this one, the legs of the tripod is much more stronger and can support the weight of this camera, as this brand (Vanguard) is designed for stability and strength!

Wide Awake!!!

My husband is away in Dubai for few days, and I am bored at this time of the night -or should I say morning?!-. I normally sleep at around 1! But I am having difficulties to sleep, so I'm all curled up in bed, checking out my emails and some blogs till I finally fall asleep -although I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow!!-.

Live Young

Hi guys,

I just received an email regarding the (Evian Live Young Campaign), that will be held in Dubai from 25^th May until 2^nd June. After their huge worldwide success in 2011, the leading water brand "Evian" comes back again with a re-newed live young campaign, inviting each and everyone of you to share their Live Young motto through a very unique experience.

 

The Live Young event will continue in various cafes and restaurants at Mall of the Emirates (including a big stand will be installed at Mall of the Emirates), and JBR Walk where consumers will be invited to join the "Snap & Dine" digital competition and potentially win an exceptional Live Young dinner.

A Snapshot

New Sunnies

Holla my friends,

This morning, I received a pair of beautiful sunnies as a generous gift from the Kingdom's leading eyewear boutique; Optica (previously known as Bahrain Optician). It is from the latest Vogue collection -Spring/Summer 2012-,  I love the soft cat eye look and it's classic black -My fave color-, they will definitely get a lot of wear!!! (Here is how it looks up close and personal).

At first I was hesitant to wear it, as I am very picky when it comes to sunglasses, because not any sunglass fits me well -Especially the cat eye style-. But when I tried it on and surprisingly, it fits me perfectly!!! I am so happy of their choice, they are classic, timeless and chic.

Can't wait to wear them tomorrow for a test drive. =D

The Return of Peplums

One of my fave 40's retro classic fashion trend is; peplum!! These extra feminine trend has recently returned, and I am soo happy for this come-back! I've been trying to look for a peplum top with sleeves similar to the ones in the pic above for a while now, but I didn't succeed!!

Fashion goddesses, if you saw any similar peplum tops around, please point me in the right direction!!
